“What do you want to be when you grow up, a big fish in a little pond or a little fish in a big pond?” Dad asked me when I was quite small.
“I want to be a big fish in a big pond,” I replied, quick as winking, and was rewarded with a big smile.
But I was fated to become a fish out of water.
